Joe's got a new baby! Amelia Jennifer, healthy & brand new was greeted by her happy mom and dad this Thursday. Life Is Good!

Well, there's progress. Tim got some new lights. Yea!!! Now he'll be able to find his Jeagermeister.

We have our show dates for this season at Pirate's Cove on the calendar. Check 'em out. Pirate's Cove is the best outdoor food/music venue in Cincinnati. Good people, good food, good drinks and live music. Its ALL good. Come join us when you can!

Leadfoot Johnny has a new Bassist! John Toedtman, a seasoned pro, has joined LFJ to fill the void left when Dave Janes (LFJ's original bassist) decided to concentrate on his daughter's ( Caitlin ) promising career. Caitlin and Dave are both quite gifted and we wish them well.

John is a bass teacher as well as student of the instrument and has several years of "gigging" that is easily apparent whenever he plays. He seems a perfect fit for the group. We're excited and thankful at our good fortune in finding such a great player.

Stop in and say "Hi" whenever you can.

Dave Janes, LFJ's bassist, graphic artist and all-round good guy has decided to leave the band. OHHHHhhhhhhh no.

No, he's not retiring. Caitlin Janes, Dave's daughter has come of age and, quite happily, has a wonderful singing voice. (You should hear her.....really!) Dave has decided to put the bulk of his energy toward helping her start her own career in the "biz".

Sooooo, now we're looking for his replacement. It won't be an easy task since LFJ's sound is just a little different. Fortunately, we have a couple of really good candidates to try out. We'll see how the process unfolds.

Leadfoot Johnny debuts at Anderson Bar and Grill on Beechmont Saturday May 2.

MR. CHUCK LAND FROM LANDMAN PRODUCTIONS IS PRODUCING A NEW VIDEO FOR LEADFOOT JOHNNY!
Chuck came out to the Avenue in Covington and filmed an entire night's worth of great LFJ music March 13. First of all there will be a promo video made that condenses the evening into 10 minutes of highlights.
Then various individual tunes will be posted on YouTube and right here for your enjoyment.
We're hoping the project will be completed very soon. Keep checking here for the latest!

The Cincy Blues Society is having a 2 night Winter Blues Fest at The Southgate House Jan 30 and Jan 31, 2009. They asked us if we still play the blues....
Show up at 11:15pm January 31, 2009 and find out.
The Southgate House is located in Newport across from Newport On The Levee at 24 East Third street. Blues music will be goin on everywhere in the building both nights. Come out both nights and check out all the bands. Doors open at 7:30, music at 8, Leadfoot Johnny plays at 11:15pm, Saturday.

Hannah Tiernan (Tim's daughter) and Caitlin Janes (Dave's daughter) are graduating seniors of the Class of 2008.
Hannah comes from Lockland High School and Caitlin from Clark Montessori.
Both are headed to college in the fall, Hannah to Northern Kentucky University and Caitlin to University of Cincinnati.
Congratulations and good luck to both of them!!

This features one of the last performances with the band of Brian Flanery on saxophone as well as Lonnie Noll sitting in keyboards and former LFJ drummer Steve Melchers sitting in on drums. It was an extremely cold 40° at the time.

Leadfoot Johnny begins their 5th season at Pirate's Cove in the Four Seasons Marina Friday and Saturday, April 4th and 5th at 7pm.

Our sax player, Joe is now the proud father of a bouncing baby girl, Annabel Auger. She was born Tuesday, February 19 at 3:00 & weighs 6lbs. The family is reportedly doing well. If you see Joe, expect a cigar
